Pascal Rosier - Rigid Polyurethane Foam - Kit 2kg
The rigid polyurethane foam has a free density of 45-50g/l, it is prepared in a ratio of 100 part A, for 117 part B by weight and 100 part A per 100 part B by volume. It is very useful for making molded parts when looking for great lightness or buoyancy. With a very good impression accuracy, it perfectly imitates wood (false beams). It is generally used for the manufacture of large items such as theatrical scenery, cinema or amusement park. It also allows for compact parts in combination with a light polyester laminate surface. The pressure exerted on the walls of the mold even in free expansion is very important, the molds will be made of laminated resin and preferably bolted to plaster or any other material. It is preferable not to make rigid foam parts of small volume or thickness, use in this case the reactive resin loaded with glass micro-balloons. "Dangerous, respect precautions".
