A good palette pad must not frustrate you. There are several ways it can. It can wrinkle, it can bleed through and it can be torn from the edge of a palette knife. The SoHo Paper Palette Pad features 100 gram coated sheets that can hold lots of paint, won't bleed through to the next sheet and are beefy enough to take the occasional nick from a palette knife.

Each has 30 sheets - not 50 - for two reasons. Reason one is to make it lighter for traveling and reason two is because by the time an artist uses 25 sheets the palette is a little worse for wear. 30 sheets is a nice compromise.
